What is the Read & Review Club?

The eBook Discovery Read & Review Club is a group of serious Readers who enjoy a variety of books and routinely share reviews at one or more major eBook eRetailers.

Read & Review Club ebooks are provided to Club Members free of charge via private download links sent via a weekly email.

All eBook Discovery Read and Review Club Members must abide by the Clubs Terms & Conditions

How the Program Works

• Join eBook Discovery's Read & Review Club. There is no cost. All ebooks provided free of charge.
• Every other Tuesday, you will receive a special eZine in your email box. The eZine will contain books available for download and review. The book selections in your email are based upon your selected reading preferences.
• Download and read the books that appeal to you. Our eZines contain instructions on how to use ProlificWorks, our free download service.
• If none of the books appeal to you, wait for the next selection Read & Review Club eZine with a new selection of books.
• If you download a book and discover that you don't care for the story and do not wish to finish the book, stop reading and consult the eZine/email from which you downloaded the book for next steps.
• When you are finished reading the story, post an honest review at the major ebook eRetailer of your choice. All reviews are voluntary. Instructions for review are located in the eZine emailed to you.
• Complete the 10-second survey. The survey link is located at the end of the story.
• Reviewing and completing the survey for at least one book every two months keeps your place in the club.

Becoming a Reviewer

Qualifications

To become an eBook Discovery Reviewer all you need is...

• A love for ebooks.
• A way to download and read ebooks on an eReader device, computer, phone, tablet or app.
• The willingness to post honest reviews at the eRetailer(s) of your choice.
• Time to read and review at least one Read & Review Club eBook every month.
• Agree to abide by the Read & Review Club's simple Terms & Conditions.

What are the Club Rules for Posting a Review?

All Reader & Review Club reader/reviewers agree to the following:

• Finish the book. If you can't finish the book, DO NOT post a review. Instead, see the "What if I'm part way through the book and decide I don't like it?" section, below, for next steps.
• Be honest.
• Be kind.
• No spoilers.
• Include "I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review."
• Follow the review rules of the eRetailer where you post your review.
• Read one eBook from the eZine every two months in order to hold your place in the club.
• Abide by the Club's Terms & Conditions

What if I'm part way through a book and decide I don't like the story?

There are far too many books out there to stick with one you don't like. We want you to have fun! If you find yourself in this situation...

• DO NOT post a review.
• Open the ebook and go to the end of the story.
• At the end of the story, click on the survey link and complete the "I stared the book but didn't like it" section within the survey.
• Be sure to include your email address inside of the survey so we know the survey is from you.
• Completing the survey holds your place in the Club.

Do not post a review for a book that you did not finish reading.

Yes! Reader reviews are the life-blood of every Author's career. Reviews from readers like you can guide an author's future story creation, boost morale, and so much more.

Honest reviews are also a valuable guide for other readers deciding whether or not to read the same book.

eBook Discovery's Read and Review Club from the Author's Perspective.

The Read & Review Club is:

• A simple and affordable way for authors to connect with a large group of avid readers who voluntarily post honest reviews.
• A way for avid readers to acquire good books.
• We fully adhere to the highest ethical standards and follow Amazon's policies.

The eBook Discovery Read & Review Club is NOT a pay-for-review service. Our club members receive no direct compensation, except for a free copy of your book.
 
Please Note: Your paid fee does not buy book reviews. You are paying to reach a select group of avid readers who have self-identified as readers and reviewers of your book's genre/category.

How does the program work?

•  You pay one flat fee and provide a copy of your book's .epub file and cover. We handle the rest.
• A page is added to the end of your ebook that contains links to the major eRetailer(s) where your book is listed. Club members use these links to voluntarily post honest reviews.
• We then place your book and its corresponding download link in a PRIVATE eZine and send it to our Reviewers who have self-identified as readers & reviewers of your book's genre (category). 
• Readers have 5 days to download a copy of your book from our servers. Then the link expires. We utilize ProlificWorks as a platform to ensure that your ebook file is easy to download and DRM protected. Available copies are also limited. This safeguards against any possibility of rampant downloads.
• Download links to Read & Review Club books appear NOWHERE on the public internet.
• Reader/reviewers may post reviews within 90 days of download, at any place where your book is listed in any format.

The safety of your book, and gathering reviews for your book, are our highest priorities.

Book Requirements

• The eBook version of your book must be listed with at least two major eRetailers, or (for Amazon KU titles) be listed on Goodreads as well as Amazon.
• You must have access to the .epub version of your book.
• You must have a Paypal account.

What happens next? If your title is accepted for the Read & Review Club, we will contact you via email with additional instructions. You will also be asked to provide a .epub and cover file at that time.
